Tourism Tech & Innovation Briefing

An Important 1-Hour Briefing for Our District's Tourism and Hospo Leaders

As a leader in the tourism, hospitality, and adventure space you will want to attend this one-hour briefing hosted by Startup Queenstown Lakes, in cooperation with Creative HQ and QLDC. Officials will deliver a 1-hour briefing for tourism and hospitality industry leaders to get up to speed on what's coming down the pipeline in innovation in the district and nationally. Attend the session most convenient for you:

  • Queenstown: 9 to 10 a.m. at Yonder,
  • Cromwell: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., TBA
  • Wanaka: 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Gin & Raspberry

What will be discussed?

You will hear from officials at QLDC, Startup Queenstown Lakes, Creative HQ, Lightning Lab Tourism Accelerator and others about:

  • Tourism Accelerator operated by Lightning Lab and Creative HQ.
  • An investment capital fund for tourism and adventure tech
  • Tourism Challenges Forum at the Headwaters in Glenorchy
  • Collaboration coworking space for new tech initiatives

Who should attend?

We highly recommend you bring anyone from your team who is leading innovation, product development, and strategy.

You will leave with a variety of ways your teams can leverage these upcoming programs, accelerators, and other business innovation efforts.

You are welcome to stay after the session to meet with representatives working on the various initiatives and to discuss how your organization may participate or take advantage of these initiatives.
