Lunch ‘n Learn – PR is Dead: Finding Stakeholders and Telling Your Story
July 22 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Bring your own lunch to this brown bag lunch and learn session at Prospector Collaboration Space.
The learning session starts at 12:05 and will conclude by 12:50 so you can get back to it.
The featured expert for this session is:
Terri Anderson, Terri Anderson Communications
Terri has 20 years of diverse strategic communication and engagement experience from around the globe. Raised in Queenstown, after graduating in Business Communication at AUT she headed to the UK where she worked in early web PR for the likes of The Times, and managed comms for large scale PPP projects for BT; disappearing to Europe, Japan and North America to snowboard in the winters.
In 2006 she moved to Chile and became involved in consulting for a Chilean government thinktank, editing a newspaper, and working in the government’s Start-Up Chile Project. She and her partner made the poor decision to have a baby in a third world hospital but the good one to stick around and have a housekeeper. Following the 2010 earthquakes in Chile her work took her to disaster and recovery communications which remained a focus upon her return to NZ.
Twenty years after first leaving, she came back to the mountains she calls home. Through Anderson Communications she keeps connected with her overseas clients, including a recent stint in a San Francisco biotech accelerator, though her primary clients are Government in the rural, mental health and disaster sphere. She gets far too involved in too many things but won’t stop nagging about transparency and good genuine engagement and communication.
